Levar um fora

This expression is used when someone’s confession or pick up line is rejected.
The act of rejecting is a “fora” (out). For the person rejecting, the expression is “dar um fora”. While for the person being rejected, the expression is “levar um fora”.

- Ela nem esperou eu terminar, e já me deu um fora.
