More or less like “is not for the faint of heart”. Say you have shocking pictures of an accident, you can say “As imagens a seguir não são indicadas se você tem o coração fraco”, that can be translated to “The following images are not for the faint of heart”.
This can mean either that something is not suitable for sensitive people, or that something can cause horror, excitement or fear.
